If you're looking for a team-building activity in Barcelona that isn't the usual escape room or go-karting, you've come to the right place.

At Paint Barcelona we run creative team-building sessions in the heart of El Born: your team paints under UV light with fluorescent colours, in a relaxed, pressure-free atmosphere where what matters isn't the result but what happens while you create. Real connection, without forcing it.

Since October 2025, more than 40 companies have chosen Paint Barcelona for their team activities. Here's why.

Why creative team building works better than conventional activities

Traditional corporate activities have one problem: everyone knows they're corporate activities. People arrive in “work” mode and it's hard to break through that barrier.

Art changes that. When you put a brush in someone's hand and tell them there's no way to get it wrong, they let their guard down. Conversations flow differently. You see sides of your colleagues that never come out in a team meeting.

Neon painting under UV light adds something more: the wow factor. Watching the colours come alive in the dark gets a genuine reaction from everyone, whatever their age or department. It's hard to stay serious under a black light surrounded by glowing colours.

How the team-building session at Paint Barcelona works

The experience lasts between 90 and 120 minutes. No previous experience is needed; in fact, it works best when nobody in the group has painted before.

The process:

  1. Welcome and introduction. Your team arrives at our studio in El Born. The self-service mini bar is open from the start, with drinks and homemade cakes included.

  2. Choosing a format. Each participant chooses their piece: canvas, ceramics or fan. There's also a collaborative format where the whole team works on a shared piece.

  3. Free painting with the Print & Trace method. The design is traced in minutes, with no creative block. Then everyone paints with fluorescent colours at their own pace.

  4. The UV moment. When the lights go off and the black light comes on, the colours burst into life. It's the moment everyone photographs.

  5. Wrap-up. Participants take their piece home. The team leaves with a shared memory that won't end up in a drawer.

Which teams and events it works for

Team integration for new teams or merged departments: making art together builds trust faster without forcing it.

Company celebrations — end-of-year parties, anniversaries, product launches. An alternative to the corporate dinner that sparks more conversation and better photos.

Training days and away days — as an opening or closing activity to change the mood before or after an intense work session.

International teams — the activity runs in Spanish, English and Catalan. You don't need to speak the language well to take part.

    Capacity and customisation

Groups at Paint Barcelona range from 6 to more than 40 people. For large groups we run sessions in shifts or adapt the space.

Each session can be customised to suit your team's goals:
